Who is Harry Browne?

Harry Browne was the Libertarian Party's 1996 Presidential nominee and expects to run in 2000 as well. Browne is a financial author by trade; he has written many best-sellers including "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World" and several investment books. His latest book is called "Why Government Doesn't Work".

Harry was the first Libertarian presidential candidate ever to qualify for matching funding. But as a matter of principle he decided not to accept it, which is also probably a first of some sort. :-)
